The LA Dodgers Celebrate the MSRC and the Dodger Stadium Express

Dodger Bus

September 7 was MSRC night at Dodger Stadium and several MSRC and Technical Advisory Committee Members were there to celebrate the Dodger Stadium Express' millionth rider, made possible with the help of the MSRC's Clean Transportation Funding. MSRC Chair Greg Pettis threw out the ceremonial first pitch, which helped lead the Dodgers to their 3-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. MSRC member Jack Kitowski, Alternates Mark Yamarone and Tim Shaw, and TAC Members Rick Teebay and Steven Lee were all on the field to cheer Greg on. The Dodgers celebrated their partnership with the MSRC and LA Metro over the last six years on the Dodger Stadium Express program by giving the first two bus-loads of fans that night a complementary dinner, giving out hundreds of Dodger Express t-shirts to fans at the stadium and inviting bus riders to walk in Center Field before the game. Dodger greats Ron Cey and Shawn Green were also on hand to help celebrate and promote the Dodger Stadium Express and to thank the MSRC for their support for getting fans out of their cars to help clean our air. There's still time to ride the Dodger Stadium Express for the last three home games of the season. For more information, please visit https://www.metro.net/riding/dodger-stadium-express.
